I would like to say that they are all universal. Actually, most of these similar models are generally produced by the same mold, like 1062 and 1060, and the mold 1060 is used by the factory to produce them. When the factory is developing molds, large factories with strength will produce 5MM each, while factories with insufficient strength will replace them with similar models. No matter what device it is used on, the distance between the pulleys can be adjusted, which will be considered in the design, so a slight difference in belt length will not be affected.

 

So, what factors determine the length of the belt?

 

The first factor that determines the length of the belt is the selection of the mold, which is crucial as choosing the wrong one can make it difficult to achieve the standard length.

 

The other factors influencing the length of the belt are the time taken in the cooling water after vulcanization and the temperature of the water. As an example, in case of a 1060 mold, the belt may be 1060 or 1055. When combining two or more belts, it is advisable to use belts of the same batch although they have to be first assembled. The price of the same model of a belt offered by various batches of any company is not the same due to environmental factors and other factors and the international brands are not permitted either.

 

Thickness of the belt body also determines the length of the belt. When the belt body is thick, the effective length will be short otherwise it will be long.
